The foundational business legacy of the Sharma family was established in 1942, laying over eight decades of industrial enterprise, customer trust, and ethical trade that paved the way for modern polymer manufacturing.
29 Oct 1997 · Kolkata, West Bengal
After 18 years in the plastic industry, Mr. Ratan Kumar Sharma incorporated National Plasto Products Pvt. Ltd., setting up the first advanced injection moulding plant in West Bengal.
04 Jul 2007 · Guwahati, Assam
National Plasto inaugurated its Guwahati plant, bringing dedicated manufacturing and rapid logistics closer to customers across Assam and the North-East.
31 Mar 2010 · Roorkee, Uttarakhand
The Roorkee plant commenced high-tonnage production, establishing a dedicated manufacturing and supply hub for North India.
29 Jun 2010 · Hajipur, Bihar
The Hajipur plant followed, completing four strategic manufacturing hubs across Howrah, Guwahati, Roorkee, and Hajipur.
Today
All four plants independently certified — 23 certificates covering ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, CE and BIFMA — and an extensive 2026 catalogue of 362+ models across NEXT, NATIONAL, CAPTAIN and SAPPHIRE.
At National Plasto, responsible manufacturing is part of how we make furniture for every space and every need. Our NATIONAL, CAPTAIN and SAPPHIRE ranges are built with reprocessed plastic, giving used polymer a long second life as durable everyday furniture.
Every one of our four plants — Howrah, Guwahati, Roorkee and Hajipur — is independently certified for environmental management, and our energy use is managed under ISO 50001.
